英國打工度假簽證

台灣稱 Youth Mobility Scheme 為「臺英青年交流計劃」。在香港通常取 Youth Mobility Scheme 字首 YMS 並以此稱為 YMS Visa。香港、台灣、日本及南韓的市民申請 YMS 名額有限。英國政府只允許每年1000人參與 YMS。通常申請人數眾多。在港台日韓的申請人都需要經抽籤獲取申請簽證的資格。

英國打工度假簽證申請資格

  • 申請人年滿18至30歲（超過30歲後申請簽證，既不能參與抽籤，簽證也不會被批核。）
  • 參加抽籤（港台日韓）並抽中成為合資格的申請人
  • £2530 存款

注意！

  • 如果你持有 BNO（British National Overseas）護照，只要你申請 BNO Visa 即有 YMS Visa 同等權利
  • 如果你是澳洲、加拿大、摩納哥、紐西蘭、冰島及聖瑪利諾（San Marino）的居民，你們不必參與抽籤，即可申請 YMS Visa

英國打工度假簽證過程

寄信抽籤

英國政府每年1月及7月都會開放一次抽籤。抽籤詳情指引請留意 Youth Mobility Ballot System 此頁。

參與抽籤的方式很簡單：

  1. 1月或7月1號會在 Youth Mobility Ballot System 公布一個電郵地址
  2. 如果你是香港人請選擇香港抽籤的網頁；台灣人請到台灣抽籤的網頁
    1. 兩者差別在於香港抽籤的電郵地址與台灣抽籤的電郵地址都不同
    2. 如果你是香港人，同時持有台灣居留證，請以香港身分申請。理由在於你擁有香港護照，而非台灣護照
  3. 以我為例，我在2022年7月申請 YMS Visa。英國政府給香港申請人「HongKong.YMS2022@fcdo.gov.uk」（已過期，請不要使用）作為參與抽籤的電郵
  4. 每個申請人只需要在 7月25日至7月27日之內傳送一個電郵到 Youth Mobility Ballot System 所公布的電郵地址，即表示已參與抽籤

電郵格式及內容

  • 信件主旨：
    • CHAN Tai Man – 01/01/2000 – A01234567
    • 名字 – 出生日期（dd/mm/yyyy） – 護照號碼（請不要複製此行）
  • 信件內容：
    • Dear Ms./Mr. Officer of UK Visas and Immigration,
       
      I would like to participate the Youth Mobility Scheme visa ballot. The required information as follows,
       
      First name: Tai Man
      Last name: Chan

  • 注意！請使用你最常用的電郵地址／最常檢查的電郵地址參與抽籤
  • 藍色字都要是必要資訊
  • 當你完成寄出後，你會收到一封自動寄出的確認信。內容如下：
    • Thank you for your email. Your request to enter the 2022 Youth Mobility Scheme ballot has been received.If you are selected for the Scheme you will receive an email from this account by Friday 29 July 2022 and will be invited to proceed with your online application.Unsuccessful customers will also receive an email by Friday 29 July 2022 confirming no further action required.

收到抽籤結果

成功或不成功，只有兩個結果。抽不中的申請者會收到申請不成功的回覆。如果申請成功，你會收到一封確認信，最重要的內容如下：

This email confirms that you have been successfully chosen to apply for the 2022 Youth Mobility Scheme.

收到此信後，一個月內要到簽證申請系統內申請簽證，並且完成繳付 NHS Surcharge (£940)及 Visa Application Fee (318 USD)。NHS Surcharge 類似於台灣健保保費。每位申請人都必需繳付。在英國有頭暈身㷫都可以見醫生。不必負擔 NHS Surcharge 以外醫療費用。當然藥物自付。

收到確認信之後，如果你個人銀行戶口內沒有 £2530，請盡快存款！到你正式遞交文件時， £2530 必須存在你的個人戶口超過 28日。

如果你的護照就快到期，也請你填寫簽證申請系統內的申請表前盡快換領！

英國簽證申請系統

申請簽證的文件視乎你在英國簽證申請系統內提供的資料。以下提供了簽證申請系統的全貌：

正式遞交文件及提供生物資料

完成了簽證申請系統裡的所有問題及繳費後，你會到以下網頁：

如果你在台灣（居住超過半年）遞交你的申請及生物資料，你不必做結核病測試（Tuberculosis Test, TB Test）。如果你是在香港居住超過半年，你必須提供結核病測試結果。

如何上傳所需文件？

上傳文件的地方是在 VFS Global（英國簽證部門的商業合作機構，負責處理簽證文件的公司）的網頁。

  1. 按 「Provide documents and biometrics」
  2. 預約一個時間
  3. 繳費（在香港遞交文件不必繳費）
  4. VFS Global 也提供好幾種服務
    1. 掃描文件及幫助上傳的服務 518 台幣
    2. 保留護照的服務（通常申請時會收走你的護照，但購買此服務後讓你保留護照）4000台幣
    3. 檢查文件服務 2000 台幣
    4. 郵寄簽證服務 300台幣
    5. 郵寄保證服務 500 台幣
    6. 以上僅供參考
  5. 在繳費後，你會有一個自己上傳文件的地方上傳你的文件
    1. 依據你的 Checklist 上傳的所需要的文件
    2. 例如：Passport 及 Bank statements
  6. 在到達簽證中心前24小時必須上傳好所有文件！

在簽證中心遞交文件的流程

以我的經驗為例，我在台北繳交生物資料及文件。

我帶了：

  1. Application Checklist一份
  2. Passport 一整本影本一份
  3. Passport 資料頁影本一份
  4. Bank Statement 一份
  5. VFS Global 預約信一份
  6. 護照正本（記得帶！）

最後用到

  1. VFS Global 預約信一份
  2. 護照正本
  3. Passport 資料頁影本一份

簽證中心（110台北市信義區松仁路97號號交易廣場2號7樓）Google Map Link

  1. 在商業大樓登記訪客（以健保卡作證件抵押）
  2. 在電梯嘩卡到7樓
  3. 通知門口警衛辦英國簽證
  4. 過安檢
  5. 等候繳交文件
  6. 繳交文件後，等拍照及按手指模
  7. 之後就可以離開
  8. 過程約15分鐘
